The Secret of Getting Rich (Summary – Volume 3/Chapter 4)

 William D. Wattles

Chapter Four:

Thinking substance takes the form of its thought and moves according to that thought. The thought of

an old tree doesn’t cause the instant formation of a full gown tree, but it does start in motion the forces which will produce the tree

No thought or form can be impressed upon original substance without causing the creation of the form. Man can form things in his thought and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the things he thinks about to be created.

A man’s way of doing things is a direct result of the way he thinks about things. To think what you want to think is to think truth regardless of appearances. To think according to appearance is easy, but to think truth irrespective of appearance is laborious and requires more power than every other work man is called to perform.

The ownership of money and property come by reason of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether by purpose or accidentally gets rich. But those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work they remain poor.
